Overview:
This beginner-friendly, two-session workshop explores cyanotype printing on paper and fabric, perfect for making art or holiday gifts. You'll learn techniques for coating, exposing, and toning cyanotypes, including cameraless prints (photograms) and mixed-process prints (cyano-lumens).
Session 1: Intro to cyanotypes, coating paper, and creating lens-based or cameraless prints.
Session 2: Focus on cyanotypes on fabric, with options for continued paper printing or creating mixed-process cyano-lumens.
Materials:
Zoom participants need basic cyanotype supplies (chemistry, paper, negatives, photogram materials, etc.). In-person attendees can get some materials from Anthony for a fee. Details provided after registration.
Skill Level: All levels welcome; no experience required.
